Based on the individual needs of the learners, we offer:
Easy Steps to Chinese Course
Target Group: Learners of Chinese as a heritage language or leaners of Chinese at HSK3 level (equivalent to B1 level) or above, who want to communicate in Chinese on topics that are familiar to them and also want to learn more about Chinese culture.
Content: Chinese traditional poems, custom about traditional festivals, popular topics and useful expressions in the sitcom Home with Kids.
Objectives: At the end of the course, you are able to recite and appreciate some of Chinese poems, to know more about Chinese traditional festivals and to understand relevant and essential details of simple spoken and written discourse.
Practical Chinese Course
Target Group: Beginners of Chinese language who want to learn some basic and practical Chinese.
Content: Pronunciation and tones; practical topics in daily life, including greetings, family, hobbies, weather, shopping, food and transport, etc.
Objectives: At the end of the course, you are able to communicate in Chinese with native speakers in real situations on the above-mentioned topics. In other words, you are able to introduce yourself and ask information directly relevant to everyday life.
Chinese Character Course
Target Group: Learners who have some basic knowledge of Chinese language (A1 Level) and want to study Chinese characters in a systematic way. Content: Origin and development of characters, six categories about traditional Chinese classification lexicography, simplification and phonetic method of characters and calligraphy appreciation of Chinese character. Objectives: At the end of the course, you are able to learn Chinese characters more efficiently, not only in recognizing, but also in memorizing how to write the characters. Moreover, you will also gain some basic knowledge about Chinese character calligraphy.
HSK Preparation Course
Target Group: Learners who want to learn necessary test-taking techniques for HSK3, HSK4 or HSK5 test in a limited time.
Content: Introduction to HSK test, test-taking techniques in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Objectives: At the end of the course, you will know better about HSK test system and you are able to boost your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills for HSK test.
When?
The summer courses will be offered from 6 July to 14 August, 2020, every weekday.
1. Easy Steps to Chinese Course: 6 July to 17 July, 2020, 10:00-11:30.
2. Practical Chinese Course: 6 July to 17 July, 2020, 14:00-15:30.
3. Chinese Character Course: 20 July to 31 July, 2020, 10:00-11:30.
4. HSK3 Preparation Course: 20 July to 31 July, 2020, 14:00-15:30.
5. HSK4 Preparation Course: 3 August to 14 August, 2020, 10:00-11:30.
6. HSK5 Preparation Course: 3 August to 14 August, 2020, 14:00-15:30.

How?
All the courses will be conducted online via Zoom or other education platforms.

Teacher
Chinese teacher Dandan Wang is a native speaker. She got the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in 2016. She graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University and obtained her Master Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in 2018. She has over 5 years of experience in teaching Chinese for international students from beginning level to high level in Universities, Language Schools and High schools. She is good at creating a relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere where students are highly motivated and inspired to learn Chinese spontaneously.

Certificate
At the end of the course, Confucius Institute at GROUP T - Academy will issue the study certificates to the students who have at least 70% attendance in the registered course. You will be informed how and when you can collect your study certificate.
