To celebrate Chinese traditional Spring Festival - Chinese New Year, the Year of Pig, our Confucius Institute at GROUP T – Academy, together with Chinese Students and Scholars Association Leuven (CSAL) and KU Leuven Campus GROUP T supported by Education Section of Chinese Embassy in Belgium,  will organize a Chinese Spring Festival Gala.

 

On the occasion of the Chinese New Year we are pleased to invite you to this special gala that brings Chinese students and scholars, the international community and the Belgian students together. A unique opportunity to celebrate China’s most important traditional festival at the turn of the lunisolar Chinese calender.

 

According to the 12-year animal zodiac cycle, the Chinese year beginning in 2019 is called ‘the Year of the Pig’. People born in this year are believed to think logically and able to solve whatever problem they encounter. Pigs are supposed to have a kind personality and are blessed with good fortune in life.

Dive in a complete and sensational show of Chinese music, dance and performances and taste the delicacies of the traditional Chinese cuisine!
